Getting it home
A large Canada goose is about the size of a turkey, and a flying turkey can have a 56-inch wingspan. Plan your transportation before pickup. Bring a friend to carry or hold a large mount. If you need help, call ahead and Bo can arrange a method for you.
Care & cleaning
- Use a feather duster or similar tool, always dusting with the feathers, not against them.
- Never use canned or compressed air to clean bird mounts.
- Keep mounts out of high-moisture areas such as bathrooms, which can lead to feather loss or distortion.
- Smoke can stain mounts over time, especially white birds such as swans and snow geese.
